Social Responsibility

Our Management Section usually sets aside one day for staff to give back to the society. This is the concept behind the "Away Day". In Abuja, one of the two posts run by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) in Nigeria, the Away Day took place on May 14 with an early morning trip to the Karu Children's Village .

Funding Programmes

The British High Commission has funding streams  such as the Strategic Programme Fund (formerly GOF), Public Diplomacy Project Fund, Bilateral Programme Budget and Returns & Re-integration Fund.

Community Involvement

The diplomatic mission through its UK Trade and Investment section is taking on board youths from Ajegunle through its internship and mentoring initiative, also known as "Ajegunle.org."
